Having a boat as your home has been my long time dream. When I still had good income during millennia, I wanted Chris Craft 36 luxurious motor yacht. Afterwards, being a single hitchhiker, any small sailboat should have been fine for me. As those were expensive in Southern Europe, getting a one from Sweden sounded a good idea. I wanted to get it done before Corona, but had to wait lockdowns to end. Obviously, I wanted to sail her to Germany Canals at least during the summer season (as stupid as I am), but as you can read, didn’t get far from Denmark. I wasn’t aware, that in Scandinavia, you can’t live in boats during winter season and without any local Tax number, you can’t keep it over winter there.

Being denied to be useful to the society and pay taxes, I just decided travel around as “homeless hitchhiker”. They really think in UK, that Eastern Europeans are coming here to claim Social Benefits and not to benefit their economy. First, I got to France and when girls left, started to hitchhike south for the winter. First wanted to go to Palestine, but ended up in Barcelona and got used to this City. I lived such kind of “homeless hitchhiker” lifestyle over a decade and didn’t complain until Corona lockdowns happened.

Life during Soviet Union era wasn’t boring at all and as a Young Person, I remember having much more democracy than we have currently in European Union. My involvement in “underground” music scene started with my teenager activity to build and run small pirate radio station. Later I built proper PA system for bands to gig, when such kind of technical capabilities where restricted and afterwards even had 8 track recording studio. Same time I spent my nights in “computing centres” to learn, why IBM programmers are writing such kind of bad code and optimised their products to run much faster and using much less memory.
